Team Objective

The dev team has to be staffed, resilient and ready to build one of the most powerfull communiction tools ever build.

Why: The Developer Team is the execution engine for Smartup Zero's technical vision.

As outlined in the Development Blueprint, this team is responsible for building Onlife—the first application that will operationalize the Onlife network. This is not just a software project; it is the concrete manifestation of our mission to provide a lifeline for citizens in emergencies.

Without a functioning Developer Team:

  • The Onlife MVP cannot be built. The protocol, the app shell, the plugins—none of it gets built without developers.
  • The Smartup model remains theoretical. If we can't build our own tools, how can we claim the model works?
  • We cannot recruit technical talent. Skilled developers join teams that are organized and have a clear mission.
  • We cannot demonstrate real traction. A vibrant community needs tangible output, and our first major output is the Onlife app.

This objective is the bridge from "blueprint" to "reality."

How: The Execution Flow:

  1. Form the Team: Recruit and onboard the Captain, Senior, and Junior developers.
  2. Set Up the Infrastructure: Create the team repo, documentation, and development tooling.
  3. Define the Work: Create team objectives (5_3_3_X) and tasks (6_3_3_X) based on the Development Roadmap.
  4. Execute with ADM: The team (Attackers) builds features; the Captain (Defender) reviews; Engelbot (Midfielder) manages the process.
  5. Deliver: Produce working software that meets the specifications of the blueprints.

What: Structural Deliverables:

  1. Team Registry: Entry in ledger/teams/registry.csv with status = "active".
  2. Role Assignments: book-of-owners.csv updated with 4_1_3 (Captain), and at least one 4_2_3 (Senior) and 4_3_3 (Junior).
  3. Team Repository: 3_3_developer_team repo created in Forgejo with a README, team charter, and development guidelines.
  4. Role Descriptions: Markdown files for 4_2_3 (Senior) and 4_3_3 (Junior) in wiki/4_roles/.

Process Deliverables:
5. Team Objective: 5_3_3_0 - Build Developer Team Infrastructure & Recruitment created and active.
6. Initial Tasks: Tasks for infrastructure, documentation, and onboarding are created and assigned.
7. Workflow: Team members demonstrate ability to use SmartupOS task management (!create_task, !claim_task, !start_work, etc.).

Reporting Deliverables:
8. Team Health Dashboard: Regular progress reports visible on timeline0.org.
9. Recruitment Pipeline: Role applications are open, and !apply_for_role / !review_app workflows are active and tested.
